IN A WHEAT FLOUR CRUST

BORAGE

Borage is an ancient Apulian wild vegetable, known as the meat of the poor, with a unique and unmistakable flavour. Carefully picked and selected, peeled and washed, it is wrapped by hand in a light, crispy crust of wheat flour, pre-cooked and frozen using the IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) method, which maintains all its characteristics of excellent flavour.

Informations

The borage shrub reaches a height of half a metre and the leaves are covered with white fuzz. The blue flowers have five petals arranged in a star shape. The roots of this plant are taproots and grow deep into the earth.
