Originally from Southern Italy and typical for the Apulia region, this vegetable is in the list of the Traditional Regional Products of Apulia. It is rich in mineral salts, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin B2, calcium, iron, phosphorus and antioxidants. It has an excellent protein content and has a natural detox effect on the body.


Its high water content contributes to eliminate toxins from the body, enhancing the liver and kidney functions.
