WILD “TORZELLA” (GREEK CABBAGE) SPROUTS

An ancient crucifer born about 4000 years ago and typical of our fields, it is the main symbol of our wonderful land. It has curly, fleshy, green leaves with a lively taste and a distinctive flavour, sweet and bitter at the same time, and its versatility makes it a refined ingredient for countless recipes. It is good, healthy and nutritious due to its high content in minerals, calcium and potassium, digestive enzymes, antioxidants, anti-cancer substances and vitamins A and C; it was once widely used by farmers as a healing and medicinal herb.
